Florence After dark

When I walk around Florence at night, it feels like an entirely new place to me. I appreciate the glowing yellow street lights flickering on and off and the ability to hear the soft sounds of the city. I am able to walk freely without squeezing past mass tour groups filling the narrow sidewalks and I get to take in the sweet smell of midnight bakeries handing out fresh croissants. I love the alternate livelihood the city possesses at night, while simultaneously treasuring the quiet corners. I want this series to show Florence in an intimate, and ultimately personal, light and reveal a side of the city that not everyone gets to see.
